A Tale About Blending

‘A TALE ABOUT A BLENDING’
Hello everybody, i wish to share a story
it’s a tale about a little girl who couldn’t find her heart,
but she had imagination and a friend she always turned to
one that came from Heaven, they were never far apart.
That little girl, let’s call her Jo, would wander down the garden
and meet up with Eliza, Heaven’s little helper,
and they’d play all day together, come rain or sunny weather
Eliza was her best friend, the only one to melt her.
But one day, such a bad day, Jo’s best friend went astray
she couldn’t find Eliza no matter where she looked,
“I’m all alone, it’s over!” she cried, the tears cascading
“I’m lost, I’ve been abandoned, i’m tearing up the book!”
Jo ran back to the vacant house and dived beneath the covers
her Mother couldn’t budge her, she wouldn’t leave her room,
“I’m never coming out again!” were the only words she’d utter
so her Mother, not the warmest, said “stay there in your tomb!”
Three whole days went passing by, Jo stayed there feeling rotten
she felt forgotten, left to sweat, deserted by her friend,
then had a need for comfort so headed to the bathroom
and that’s when magic happened, when rules began to bend.
She was looking in the mirror, staring at a shadow
when suddenly Eliza stood behind her, full of grace,
she softly said “you’d thought i’d gone but i will never leave you
how could i? I’m your missing heart, let’s have that lost embrace.”
And that’s when one small Angel got to merge with Heaven’s twin
love walked in and gave her back a heart and so much more,
that little girl’s now grown up and she’s called Eliza Jo
she’s a nurse in London that the patients all adore.
People, that’s my story, i hope you like the ending
it’s a tale about a blending, a healing of the hurt,
and i guess that what it’s saying is that everybody needs them
that hearts are at the centre of more love upon the Earth.
