A layer in the earth’s stratosphere at an altitude of about 6.2 miles (10 km) containing a high concentration of ozone, which absorbs most of the ultraviolet radiation reaching the earth from the sun. **What is Ultra Violet Radiation?**
Ultraviolet light is a type of electromagnetic radiation, as are radio waves, infrared radiation, X-rays and gamma-rays. UV light, which comes from the sun, is invisible to the human eye. It makes black-light posters glow, and is responsible for summer tans — and sunburns.
June 1, 2017: In depth analysis of a photograph taken of the Sun on May 29, 2017 @1:15pm MST from SE Phoenix, Arizona. When the photograph was taken I did not see the object as I was not looking at the Sun. The analysis is done by prep Aussie in the video provided at the link below. Thank you.
June 1, 2017: The strange frequency phenomenon at the Tiksi, Russia (Arctic Circle Seismogram) has been reviewed by a Seismologists and has confirmed it appears to be a strange signal! Origins unknown.
Also some ‘interesting’ geographical observations from the area, some look familiar and some look very old. (Google Earth)
