You might have heard this term. To practice mindfulness, first you need to understand what it exactly is. In simple words we can say that mindfulness is simply the practice of accepting the present moment without any judgments. Various studies and surveys have shown that practicing mindfulness can actually lead to decreased levels of stress hormones in the body and it can also boost energy levels significantly. Try to concentrate on the joy that this present moment is giving you. Those who practice mindfulness often say that we are least happy when we allow our mind to wander untamed and most happy when we savor the specialty of the moment we are living in.

Understand that no matter what you do, you won’t be able to feel happy if you are not sleeping enough. Physicians and psychiatrists often say that we need to sleep for at least 8 hours a day.
